The Session Flow

"I remember being nervous during my first session, but my practitioner’s calm presence helped me open up about the stress I’d been carrying."

The introduction: The heart of your session begins with a gentle, intentional check-in. Your practitioner will create a safe container for you to share what’s present in your body, heart, and mind.

They’ll want to understand what brings you here – whether it’s physical tension, emotional weight, or simply curiosity. This conversation usually feels more like meeting a caring friend than a formal consultation.

Settling In: Once you’ve shared and settled, you’ll be guided to make yourself deeply comfortable. Think of this as preparing for the most rejuvenating rest you’ve ever experienced. You’ll lie down on a massage table, perhaps with a cozy blanket draped over you.

The Journey: Like gentle waves washing over you, the sounds begin softly and build gradually. You might first hear the whisper of a singing bowl, then feel its vibrations rippling through your body. It is a natural response in this part feels like your floating.

The Conclusion: is what practitioners call "Integration" – A gentle return to everyday awareness. The sounds slowly fade away. You’ll have precious time to absorb the experience, to feel the shifts in your body and energy.

How you will feel after a Sound & Vibrational Session?

The powerful combination of sounds and vibrations can unlock deep-seated emotions, providing participants with a pathway to self-awareness and emotional expression. Many leave the session feeling emotionally lighter, having released significant emotional baggage. This newfound emotional clarity can prompt immediate action or decisions, as participants find a moment of clarity after achieving emotional balance.

However, it's important to acknowledge that people may also experience negative emotions, such as sadness, grief, or memories of past trauma. Participants might experience physical symptoms like dizziness, nausea, or headaches as they release blocked emotions. These symptoms generally subside as the body integrates the newly aligned energy. To aid this process, it is advisable to stay hydrated and rest adequately after the session.

After a session, you may experience a range of physical and emotional symptoms as your body releases toxins and clears blockages. These responses are a positive sign that your body is re-balancing itself.

Common symptoms may include:

Feeling sleepy/tired or feeling invigorated and full of energy:It's normal to feel either extremely relaxed or unusually energized after a session.

Feeling emotional due to the release of tension:
Emotions may surface as your body releases stored stress and trauma.

Increased urination/flatulence due to the detoxification process:
Your body is working to eliminate toxins, which may result in increased bath room visits.

Temporary flu-like symptoms:
Mild flu-like symptoms can occur as part of the detox process.

A slight worsening of any pre-existing symptoms:
This is part of the detox process and should not last more than 24-48 hours.

Tips for Post-Session Aftercare

To support your body's natural healing process after a session, follow these aftercare tips:
1. Go home, relax, and avoid strenuous exercise: Allow your body to rest and integrate the healing vibrations.
2. Get plenty of sleep: Sleep is crucial for recovery and healing.
3. Drink plenty of water: Hydrate well for the next few days to help flush out toxins.
4. Avoid further toxins and stimulants: Reduce or eliminate alcohol, caffeine, and smoking to support your body's detoxification process.
5. Eat lightly: Focus on light, nutritious meals, including plenty of fruits and vegetables. Avoid heavy, processed foods.
6. Move your body: Move your body to help release stored tensions and facilitate the integration of renewed energies after a session. This might include yoga, QiGong or somatic shaking.

How Long Do the Effects of Sound & Vibrational Therapy Last?

The duration of the effects from a session can vary widely among individuals, depending largely on their lifestyle and daily stress levels. Those who quickly dive back into a hectic routine may notice that the calming effects not last as long as individuals who maintain a more relaxed lifestyle.

Contraindications and Precautions:

Pregnancy: Some practitioners advise against sound baths in the first trimester or recommend keeping instruments away from the belly.
