Let's dive a little deeper on the services and benefits

Reiki

In the Reiki Sound Experience the sound vibrations help unlock and dissolve blockages, while Reiki helps channel universal energy to balance and heal. The combination of these modalities works synergistically, leading to deep relaxation and renewal.

The power of the Himalayan and crystal singing bowls is especially potent. The sounds can penetrate the body on a cellular level, helping to clear out stagnant energy and creating a sense of lightness.

As you relax into this sonic atmosphere, we layer in: The grounding rhythm of sacred drumming
Soothing sounds of rain-sticks, chimes, and other natural elements to deepen the sense of presence and tranquility.

Meanwhile, Reiki works as a gentle, non-invasive force to harmonize and align the energy centers (chakras) throughout your body, restoring balance and harmony.

It's often described as a transformative experience, where clients report feeling lighter, more centered, and profoundly at peace. Some even experience vivid sensations or visions during the session, as their subconscious mind processes and releases old, stored energy. Afterward, many people find themselves experiencing a heightened sense of clarity and emotional well-being. It's truly a holistic experience for anyone looking to heal and rejuvenate on all levels.

Sound Therapy

Sound generates powerful vibrations in the room, which, at various frequencies and tones, help release blocked energy and trapped emotions from the body. The frequencies and vibrations of the instruments influence the body's energy systems and brain waves to address imbalances. Such imbalances can affect physiological functioning and contribute to illness and disease. The Solfeggio frequencies are a set of ancient musical tones used in sound baths, each associated with specific benefits and intentions.

Madge will start the session by guiding you into deep relaxation, helping your mind and body reach a meditative state. This state activates the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to rest and repair. The practitioner then uses powerful instruments and sound elements to envelop you in sound waves. Sound therapy aids in restoring the cells' normal vibratory frequencies.

Sound directly engages the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for your body’s “rest and digest” mode. This activation: Slows down your heart and breathing rates, Lowers cortisol levels (your stress hormone), Promotes a sense of safety and calm. It’s a profound way to switch off the constant “fight or flight” mode so many of us live in, giving your body the green light to heal and recharge.

Singing Crystal Bowls are the main instruments used by Madge in Sound Therapy.

Promote Deep Relaxation - the calming sound of the bowl coupled with your breathing can help release tension.
Reduce Stress & Anxiety- the resonance of the bowl synchronizes brain waves to induce a deep meditative & peaceful state.
Chakra Balancing- Many people find the rich blend of harmonic overtones which the singing bowls produce, have a direct positive effect on balancing the chakras.
Aid The Immune System- Singing bowl vibrations can help stimulate the immune system.
Help You “Get in the Zone”- Singing bowls cause the brain to switch to Theta brainwave frequencies that heighten one’s clarity, intuition, as well as deep peaceful and meditative states.
Improve Circulation and Blood Flow- A study published in the American journal of Health Promotion 2014 found a greater reduction in systolic blood pressure and heart rate after a 12 minute relaxation session of singing bowls compared to silence.  The sound from a singing bowl can reduce brain activity and therefore slow down our respiration and heart rate.

Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST)

Himalayan Bowls & Tuning Forks are the most commonly used instruments by Madge.

Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST) uses highly vibrational therapeutic Himalayan bowls which are purposefully placed on, around the body and gently rung to induce deep states of relaxation. It can be similar to massage therapy, although there is no physical touch and you remain fully clothed.

VST helps support the body in releasing stress and tension and encourages self renewal. This session helps to activate the rest and digest nervous system which allows the body to be in a state where it can function optimally. Those who undergo a state of deep relaxation during a VST session often report a feeling of peace, calm, and mental freshness that they carry with them after the session is over. Some individuals also experience profound states of consciousness.

Biofield Tuning Blocks

Biofield Tuning is a sound therapy method that uses tuning forks on and around the body for relaxation and restoration of body and mind. A 60-minute session can help you relax and unwind patterns of stress, to promote a sense of calm and well being.

How It Works: During a Biofield Tuning session, a client lies fully clothed on a treatment table while Madge activates a tuning fork and scans the biofield slowly, beginning from about six feet away.

At this point Madge begins feeling for resistance and turbulence in the client's biofield. Listening for a change in the overtones and undertones of the tuning fork.

When Madge encounters a turbulent area, she continues to activate the tuning fork and hold it in that specific spot. Research suggests the body's organizing intelligence uses the steady coherent vibrational frequency of the tuning fork to "tune" itself.

Sound & Vibration Benefits

Physical Benefits - Sound doesn’t stop at the mind, it has profound effects on the body, too. Sound & vibrations can actually work on a cellular level to promote physical release.

Pain Relief: Studies suggest that sound therapy can reduce chronic pain by relaxing tight muscles and calming the nervous system.

Improved Sleep: Struggling with insomnia? Sound & vibrations are a natural way to lull yourself into deeper, more restorative sleep. Frequencies like 432 Hz are often used for this purpose.

Muscle Relaxation: The vibrations can help release physical tension, making it ideal for post-workout recovery or just unwinding after a long day.

Improved Circulation: The vibrations from singing bowls and gongs help stimulate blood flow throughout your body, supporting natural healing processes and leaving you feeling energized yet peaceful.

Mental Benefits - We all know how hard it can be to quiet a racing mind. Whether it’s the endless to-do list, the stress of daily life, or just plain burnout, our brains rarely get a break. That’s where sound & vibration shines.

Reduced Stress: The soothing vibrations of sound healing encourage your body to shift out of the “fight or flight” mode and into the calming “rest and digest” state. For me, it’s like an internal reset button after a chaotic day.

Enhanced Focus: Certain frequencies, like binaural beats, can help you tune out distractions and tap into a more focused, meditative state. It’s like a mental decluttering session.

Emotional Release: Have you ever cried during a yoga class or felt a wave of emotion after hearing a song? Sound & vibrations can trigger a similar emotional release, helping you process feelings you didn’t even realize you were holding onto.

Yoga Nidra Meditation

What is Yoga Nidra Meditation?

Yoga Nidra, translated as “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice that brings you into a state between wakefulness and sleep, where the body is fully relaxed but the mind remains aware. Unlike ordinary sleep, Yoga Nidra allows you to consciously experience deep rest, often referred to as conscious sleep.

How Yoga Nidra Works

The practice typically involves lying down in a comfortable position, often in Corpse Pose (Shavasana), and following a guided meditation that may include:
Body scan: Bringing awareness to each part of the body to release tension
Breath awareness: Observing and regulating the breath to deepen relaxation
Visualization: Using imagery to calm the mind and explore inner experiences
Sankalpa (intention setting): Stating a personal intention or affirmation to guide the practice
Awareness of opposites: Experiencing sensations like hot/cold or pleasant/unpleasant to cultivate equanimity
Sessions usually last 20–40 minutes, though shorter or longer practices are possible depending on your schedule and needs

Benefits of Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra offers a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional benefits:

Deep relaxation: Reduces stress and tension in the body

Improved sleep: Helps with insomnia and enhances sleep quality

Emotional healing: Supports anxiety reduction and emotional balance

Enhanced self-awareness: Promotes mindfulness and spiritual growth

Restoration of energy: Acts as a “power nap” for the mind and body It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting a “rest-and-digest” state that counteracts stress and fatigue

Note: People suffering or diagnosed with severe depression, severe trauma and severe mental health conditions like schizophrenia shouldn’t do yoga Nidra meditation.
